FIRST, let me say that Im STILL cancer free and plan on staying that way. God is indeed, not only good, HE is GREAT! Had an 8 month visit in August and everything is fine. Had a CAT scan in June and totally negative, so dont try to tell me that God does not heal. He DOES and Im living proof.
You might be wondering about the title to this blog. Honestly I am too. The title came to me in the middle of the night last night. Im finding the words to say as Im writing this. Given the latest goings on in the world today, honestly leads to believe that the Lords coming cannot possibly be that far off.
WHY draw a line in the sand? We have all played the game where you draw a line and dare your friend to cross it, and then keep drawing it and keep daring. Im not really sure where this came from, but Ive seen it used LOTS, even in movies.
HOWEVER what Im referring to, is that its TIME for Christians to take a stand, to draw the line, and stand up for what you've been taught and what you believe. We have groups of people persecuting Christians even in our own country, a country that was founded on religious freedom, yet today there seems to be a war on Christianity, authority, common sense, and really just about anything else we all know and love. Just in the last couple of days we have seen on the news where a woman was jailed for NOT issuing a marriage license to a gay couple, because it was against her religious beliefs. She was jailed because 5 judges on the Supreme Court this year decided to take it upon themselves to declare that ANYONE could marry. Now think about this for just a minute. There is NO law that this woman disobeyed. A ruling by any court is NOT a law. Laws can only be made by the Legislature. The President cannot even make law, ONLY the legislature. So basically this woman was jailed unfairly for being a Christian. The judge that sent her to jail stated that he "held religious beliefs", but he had taken an oath. QUESTION, IF you ask forgiveness from your sin, and sincerely repent, is that not a type of oath?? Just throwing that out there. In MY opinion it is. So which "oath" is the most important? I would say the one you made with God. This is just the beginning of things to come. Are you willing to draw the line, and stand firm? Are you willing to be persecuted for your beliefs? To go even further, are you willing to be prosecuted for your beliefs? Now I realize Im kinda preaching to the choir here, since Im assuming that most everyone that reads my blog is a Christian, but Im praying that SOMEONE that needs to see this, will see it and at least start thinking.
In the Bible we read that in the end times there will be a falling away of believers. People will call good evil, and evil good. Now keep in mind, Im NOT a saint, Ive done plenty of wrong in my lifetime, but Gods grace is an awesome thing and HE has always kept an eye on me, and has always been there when I fell to pick me back up. What has amazed me just over the last year or 2. We have seen this country do a backward slide into depravity, and it does not seem to be fading anytime soon.
I dont know why I feel so strongly about this, except to say that I believe that there is coming a time of GREAT change in the world. I also feel there will also be a time of God pouring out his Holy Spirit on the world for a world wide revival. All I can suggest to everyone is that you "be ready" for whatever happens. Be willing to take the stand on your faith. Be ready to be strong. Be ready for whatever God will have you do. Remember IF HE calls you to do something, even if you think you are not able, HE WILL EQUIP you for the challenge.
Have a great day, be blessed, and be READY
